Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage to address client concerns Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and anatomy understanding Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness goals Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining CPR certification and adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and customizing sessions for individual needs Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to optimize treatment outcomes and enhance client satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in massage therapy, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a strong focus on patient care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance Prior experience in pain management, occupational health, or med spa environments is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming, professional atmosphere for clients Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans based on individual health conditions Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and ensure client comfort throughout sessions
