Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Weekends are a plus! New grad welcome to apply, we will train! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional patient service. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting relaxation, pain management, and overall wellness for our clients. Your expertise in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, will help clients achieve their health goals in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to each client's specific requirements. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques for pain management and relaxation. Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress. Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for clients before and after sessions. Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in massage therapy and wellness. Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to enhance patient care. Uphold all safety standards and protocols within the practice. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred, with a strong focus on customer service. Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset for effective communication with healthcare providers. Familiarity with med spa environments is beneficial but not required. Strong skills in patient service, including the ability to listen actively and respond to client needs. Experience in pain management techniques and occupational health practices is desirable. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required.
