Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and specific goals for therapy. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide guidance on self-care practices. Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry standards through continuous education and professional development. Skills Proven experience in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to listen actively and explain procedures clearly. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively to identify areas of pain or tension requiring targeted therapy. Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and pain management. Customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to enhance client well-being through personalized care. Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist along with CPR certification; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health are a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pain management strategies enhances treatment effectiveness. We are looking for someone to work every Monday and a couple Saturdays a month. Pay:
$25.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
