Unlike a traditional spa, Avira combines personalized concierge wellness with advanced restorative therapies — from hyperbaric oxygen therapy and infrared recovery to cold plunge, vibroacoustic therapy, and personal fitness training — all offered together in one private setting in the quiet landscape of Idaho. The Role We're looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who understands that bodywork, in a retreat setting, is about more than relaxation — it's a core part of a guest's larger restoration journey. You'll deliver individualized therapeutic sessions, support integrated wellness pathways, and help guests reconnect with their bodies through intentional, restorative touch. This is a part‑time, commission‑based contract role with scheduling tied to guest bookings and retreat programming. Responsibilities Provide personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each guest's goals, needs, and wellness pathway Conduct intake assessments and recommend modalities that support recovery, stress reduction, and whole‑body restoration Offer a range of therapeutic techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, or other specialized modalities within your scope Collaborate with the broader wellness team to ensure guests receive a cohesive, integrated experience Maintain a calm, safe, and professional environment that reflects Avira's standard of care Uphold exceptional guest presence — warm, grounded, attentive, and genuinely invested in each person's well‑being Represent the Avira Reserve brand with professionalism, care, and a commitment to elevated wellness Qualifications Current Idaho Massage Therapy License (or ability to obtain prior to start) CPR/AED certification required 2+ years of experience providing therapeutic massage in a wellness, spa, or clinical setting Training in multiple modalities preferred (e.g., deep tissue, sports, myofascial, lymphatic, prenatal, etc.) Comfortable delivering sessions in both indoor treatment rooms and nature‑inspired outdoor settings when appropriate Calm, grounded presence — you meet guests exactly where they are Genuine passion for restorative bodywork and holistic wellness Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care Compensation Commission‑based | Commensurate with experience and session volume To Apply Send your certifications to or reach out with any questions.
