We are looking for a licensed, professional, and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. At Body Senses Chicago, every treatment is more than a massage — it is an opportunity for our clients to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and leave feeling renewed. What You'll Do Provide high-quality massage services tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, sports, trigger point, and customized massage . Conduct a professional intake before each session to understand the client's goals, areas of tension, preferences, and any relevant physical concerns. Adapt pressure, techniques, and treatment areas based on client feedback and comfort. Create a warm, welcoming, and relaxing experience from the moment the client arrives until the end of their visit. Educate clients on general self-care, stretching, hydration, and wellness practices when appropriate. Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, cleanliness, and proper sanitation at all times. Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and calming treatment room before and after each service. Follow Body Senses Chicago's service standards, treatment protocols, and guest experience guidelines. Communicate professionally with clients and team members. Continue developing your massage skills and knowledge through education, training, and hands-on experience. What We're Looking For Current Illinois Massage Therapist License in good standing. Professional, reliable, and respectful attitude. Strong hands-on massage skills and knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics. Experience with multiple massage modalities is preferred. Ability to customize each treatment rather than providing a one-size-fits-all massage. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working with a diverse clientele. Ability to listen to clients and respond appropriately to their needs and preferences. Strong attention to cleanliness, professionalism, and detail. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and create a safe, respectful environment. CPR certification is preferred and may be required based on position responsibilities. Previous spa, massage studio, wellness, or hospitality experience is a plus.
