Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, customizing treatment plans, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Your expertise in various massage techniques and commitment to customer satisfaction will contribute to our mission of promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and needs prior to treatment. Develop personalized massage therapy plans based on individual client goals and preferences. Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care and experience. Ensure all equipment and tools are properly sanitized after each use. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of hair threading techniques is a plus. Familiarity with color theory can enhance client consultations. Experience in esthetic laser treatment is desirable for holistic service offerings. Understanding of retail math for product sales is beneficial. Proficiency in dermabrasion techniques adds value to client services. Background in barbering or cosmetology can complement massage therapy skills. Knowledge of nail care practices enhances overall client service experience.
