In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, recover, and improve their overall well-being. The position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to choose a morning or afternoon shift to start your day. As your client base grows, there will be opportunities to expand your schedule accordingly. This is a paid position committed to delivering high-quality massage therapy in a welcoming environment. You will be providing 30 min and 60 minute massages. You will be paid hourly plus tips on top the hourly wage. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and rehabilitative techniques. Maintain a clean and safe treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards. Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and preferences before each session. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, starting with either morning or afternoon shifts based on your preference, with the potential for schedule expansion as demand increases. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress notes. Uphold all licensing requirements and adhere to industry standards and regulations. Promote a relaxing and positive environment for clients during each session. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with massage therapy techniques and best practices. Skills Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience providing various types of massage therapy preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary. Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment options clearly. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a calming and professional atmosphere. Ability to manage scheduling flexibly, starting with either morning or afternoon shifts based on personal availability. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to adapt treatment techniques based on individual client needs and preferences.
