September 2026 Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is seeking a compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist who is trained in Oncology massage to provide services to individuals affected by cancer. Peer-to-peer training will be provided. All equipment, linens, and lotions will be provided by Cancer Services, and schedule is maintained and monitored by the administrative professionals. This position is approximately 12-16 hours a week and the hourly pay is between $24--$28 an hour based on experience. Key Skills

• Organizational and time management skills Responsibilities Provide gentle, relaxation massage tailored to the needs of cancer patients and survivors.

Adjust techniques based on client health conditions, treatment side effects, and overall comfort. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. Conduct thorough intake and health-history reviews prior to treatment and identify situations requiring modifications, precautions, or referral to an appropriate healthcare professional. Communicate clearly with clients regarding expectations, comfort, positioning, pressure, and treatment goals. Maintain proper documentation of sessions and adhere to client confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with Cancer Services staff to ensure continuity of care and client safety. Participate in continuing education and maintain current professional credentials and oncology massage training. Provide exceptional customer service and contribute positively to the overall client experience. Maintain massage suite cleanliness in between clients, including laundering linens, disinfecting the massage table

• Ensure the suite is a calm and welcoming space for all clients and caregivers who enter.

Qualifications Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of Indiana (required). Oncology massage training or certification is preferred . Experience working with individuals with medical conditions, particularly cancer, is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
