Peer-to-peer training will be provided. All equipment, linens, and lotions will be provided by Cancer Services, and the schedule is maintained and monitored by the administrative professionals. Responsibilities Provide gentle, relaxation massage tailored to the needs of cancer patients and survivors. Ensure the suite is a calm and welcoming space for all clients and caregivers who enter. Adjust techniques based on client health conditions, treatment side effects, and overall comfort. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. Conduct thorough intake and health-history reviews prior to treatment and identify situations requiring modifications, precautions, or referral to an appropriate healthcare professional. Communicate clearly with clients regarding expectations, comfort, positioning, pressure, and treatment goals. Maintain proper documentation of sessions and adhere to client confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with Cancer Services staff to ensure continuity of care and client safety. Participate in continuing education and maintain current professional credentials and oncology massage training. Provide exceptional customer service and contribute positively to the overall client experience. Maintain massage suite cleanliness in between clients, including laundering linens, disinfecting the massage table Ensure the suite is a calm and welcoming space for all clients and caregivers who enter.
