Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join American Muscle Factory. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help create a calming environment where clients feel valued, cared for, and rejuvenated. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and sports massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and specific pain points before developing tailored treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies or stretches to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes, client feedback, and progress reports in compliance with privacy standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining clean treatment areas. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions, and foster a trusting relationship that encourages repeat visits. Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities related to physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and advanced massage techniques. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately through client communication and physical evaluation. Familiarity with pain management strategies and client-centered care approaches that promote relaxation and healing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse clients while maintaining professionalism at all times.
