Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current condition, and specific pain points Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology knowledge Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients Knowledge of pain management techniques and experience working within occupational health or med spa environments is preferred Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments in a fast-paced setting Prior experience in customer service roles that emphasize client communication and satisfaction is highly valued Join us in delivering outstanding wellness experiences that transform lives!
