Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through a combination of therapeutic massage and other massage relaxation modalities ensuring a relaxing and effective experience for clients. This role requires a deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver tailored treatments that address individual health and wellness needs. The therapist will play a vital role in promoting pain management, occupational health, and overall patient satisfaction while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service. Knowledge and experience in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Post Surgery Lymphatic Drainage are bonus points. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities aimed at pain relief and relaxation. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and health conditions. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to occupational health protocols. Stay updated on the latest techniques in massage therapy to continually improve service quality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the med spa to optimize patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage. Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment, pain management techniques, and physiology knowledge. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and related modalities preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health standards relevant to med spa services. Experience working within healthcare or wellness settings that require professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail is essential.
