In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall health and well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve physical relief and mental clarity through personalized treatment plans. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and Reiki services. Assess client conditions through detailed intake and patient assessment processes to determine appropriate treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices, including postpartum care, breastfeeding support, nutrition, and relaxation techniques. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided using medical software and telehealth platforms when applicable. Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive wellness strategies that incorporate anatomy knowledge and physiology understanding. Assist with patient care coordination by communicating effectively with clients about their progress and needs. Support patients during labor & delivery recovery or postpartum periods by providing specialized massage therapy aimed at promoting healing and comfort. Requirements Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care principles. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for practicing massage therapy. Familiarity with medical software systems for documentation and telehealth platforms for remote consultations. Strong client communication skills with the ability to work effectively with families and diverse patient populations. Knowledge of working with patients during labor & delivery, postpartum recovery, and other specialized care areas such as breastfeeding support and nutrition guidance. Ability to perform patient assessment accurately to customize treatment approaches effectively. Passion for promoting holistic health practices including Reiki services and other complementary therapies.
