Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage, and lymphatic drainage treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Maintain detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client responses, in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health standards. Stay current with industry trends, certifications such as CPR, and new massage techniques to continually enhance service quality. Experience Licensed massage therapist with a knowledge of various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, etc. Prior experience working in massage settings is preferred, but we are willing to train recent graduates with their MBLEX certification. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
