Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for a diverse client base. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through personalized treatments that incorporate various massage techniques and a thorough understanding of human physiology. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe, effective care Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on post-session care Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations Maintain liability insurance through a reputable carrier throughout your employment with Ebb & Flow Massage Therapy Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service offerings Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with good standing Proven experience delivering a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, or Ashiatsu is a plus, but we're also excited to meet therapists who are eager to learn and grow. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology with the ability to assess patient needs accurately Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Experience managing pain relief treatments and understanding medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health Familiarity with client communication techniques that foster trust and comfort during sessions Join us in creating a welcoming environment where clients feel cared for and empowered on their journey toward better health.
