Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Adhere to all safety protocols including proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance your skills in physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, pain management experience, and medical terminology. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong patient service orientation with excellent client communication skills to build trust and rapport. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Ability to interpret medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and pain management. Experience with patient assessment techniques to develop effective treatment plans. Familiarity with medical safety standards including CPR certification and sanitation protocols. Demonstrated customer service skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
