Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other specialized modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene standards and proper use of equipment Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, provide guidance on post-treatment care, and foster a welcoming atmosphere Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop customized treatment plans that align with individual health goals Familiarity with pain management techniques and experience working in med spa or healthcare settings is preferred.
