This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services in a med spa environment, focusing on pain management and overall relaxation. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs and delivering tailored treatments that promote healing and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and preferences. Provide various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at pain management and relaxation. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Qualifications Valid state licensure or as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in med spa settings or occupational health is preferred. Strong skills in patient service and communication to foster positive client relationships. Ability to perform various massage techniques including deep tissue. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
