Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for a diverse client base. Your expertise will help clients achieve physical harmony, recover from stress or injury, and enhance their health through personalized massage techniques. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or specialized modalities like Reiki services. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Maintain detailed records of each session using medical software, including client progress and treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices, including postpartum care, breastfeeding support, nutrition advice, and relaxation techniques. Collaborate with healthcare providers and utilize telehealth platforms when necessary to coordinate care or provide follow-up support. Assist in patient intake processes by gathering relevant health information and explaining treatment procedures clearly. Support families during labor & delivery recovery or postpartum periods by offering specialized massage services that promote healing and comfort. Qualifications Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with certification in relevant modalities. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with medical software systems for scheduling and recordkeeping. Excellent communication skills for client consultation and education on topics such as postpartum care and breastfeeding support. Ability to work with diverse populations including families, pregnant women, and postpartum clients. Knowledge of telehealth platforms for remote consultations when applicable. Additional skills in Reiki services or other holistic therapies are a plus but not required.
