Warren, MI 48092 Make a Difference in Patients' Recovery Spinal Recovery Center (SRC) is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Warren. In this role, you'll provide therapeutic massage as part of individualized patient care while working closely with chiropractors and other wellness professionals. Your work will contribute directly to the overall patient experience and treatment process.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide 30- and 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions according to established patient treatment plans. Prepare patients and treatment areas to promote comfort, privacy, and a positive experience. Assist patients with positioning on traction and decompression equipment. Perform X-rays as directed. Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate scheduling needs with the front desk. Keep treatment rooms and shared clinical spaces clean, organized, and ready for use. Monitor supplies, restock inventory, and assist with linen management. Clean and inspect massage and therapy equipment to ensure it remains safe and operational. Follow applicable sanitation, safety, and infection-control practices. Assist with other clinic responsibilities as needed. What You Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Graduate of an approved massage therapy program or completed an applicable apprenticeship. Current, active Michigan Massage Therapy License . Experience with multiple massage modalities, such as deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, or sports massage. Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and pushing equipment weighing up to 300 pounds. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience working in a healthcare, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or clinical environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar computer applications. We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in providing compassionate, patient-focused service. How Compensation Works This position combines an hourly base rate with commission-based massage earnings. Chiropractic Assistant Duties $15.00/hour for time spent performing Chiropractic Assistant responsibilities. Massage Services 50% of gross receipts for eligible cash-pay and commercial insurance massage sessions. $75 per massage for eligible workers' compensation and auto insurance sessions. Depending on massage volume and productivity, the combined compensation structure provides an estimated earning potential of $30-$55/hour .
