Duties Perform customized massage treatments including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain or tension Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to develop effective treatment plans for pain management and occupational health concerns Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and clinic policies Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to coordinate comprehensive patient care Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid state license or certification in massage therapy Familiarity with patient service principles and excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior work in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable Strong understanding of patient assessment procedures and the ability to tailor treatments accordingly Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and team members while maintaining professionalism Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help others feel their best!
