Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. You will be walking into a busy chiropractic office along the shores of Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, you patients will be provided. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on post-massage care. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining equipment properly. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy, anatomy, physiology, and occupational health to continually enhance skills. Promote exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist, with current CPR certification. Proven experience in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy and occupational health practices. Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred, BUT no necessary. Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
