Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Massage Therapist to join our team and to provide outcome driven therapeutic massage treatments to our patients. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about helping people feel their best, has a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and is comfortable working with clients of all ages. We aim to provide 30 and 60 minute massages. We are looking to hire someone part-time and weekday, day-time hours . Job Responsibilities Provide exceptional massage therapy treatments to patients Perform therapeutic massages on patients using various techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, etc. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and to execute personalized treatment plans Be knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the human body Utilize the EHR (electronic health record) system for scheduling, documentation, and client record management Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain regular attendance Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in the practice of massage therapy Skills and Qualifications Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Knowledge of acute pain management and pain management techniques Compliance with local and state licensing laws and regulations Strong team player with excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and work ethic Able to work flexible days and hours Professional manner, discretion and appearance Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills while planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting treatment Exceptional oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Specialized training in Swedish, deep tissue, and/or hot stone massage; cupping, lymphatic drainage massage, active release technique, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, or other specialized treatment approaches Certifications in other various modalities (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Deep Tissue) Commitment to interdisciplinary work, recognizing the importance and value of a holistic treatment approach Benefits Pay and tips Continuing education credits Employee discounts on all cash services Flexible schedule Family culture where team members support, encourage, and inspire each other We would love to hear from you!
