Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, trigger point therapy, and medical massage techniques tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document client progress accurately Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to support comprehensive patient care when necessary Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management procedures Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop customized treatment plans based on individual health conditions Knowledge of customer service principles that foster trust and client retention Certification in CPR or emergency response procedures is pref; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health are preferred Join us in creating a positive impact through healing touch!
