Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage , prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs, preferences, and health conditions. Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to proper sanitation and hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and tailor sessions accordingly. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in providing a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health massages. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Experience with patient assessment techniques to identify pain points and develop effective treatment strategies. Prior work in med spa settings or wellness clinics is highly desirable. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Knowledge of pain management techniques and experience addressing client-specific health concerns is preferred. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or occupational health are a plus. • Extra Consideration For existing Clients you bring into the clinc.
