Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy, and medical history Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in accordance with medical terminology standards Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety guidelines at all times Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize pain management strategies and overall patient care Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications related to med spa services and therapeutic massage Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in patient service and assessment skills Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusting client relationships Ability to work professionally within healthcare environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards Commitment to ongoing professional development through continued education in massage therapy techniques and healthcare practices Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to improving lives!
