Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to individuals whom have been in automobile and work related accidents. Services will be provided in client's home. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, combining technical skill with compassionate care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while working in a vibrant, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, physiology knowledge, and medical history. Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by following proper hygiene protocols and adhering to licensing regulations. Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills through ongoing professional development, including med spa techniques if applicable. Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to accurately identify areas of tension or discomfort. Expertise in massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain relief. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Knowledge of occupational health principles to promote workplace wellness and injury prevention. Previous experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
