Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored treatments, exceptional patient service, and professional communication. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand client concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with licensing standards. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to occupational health guidelines and maintaining sanitation protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance treatment quality. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client conditions and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Familiarity with pain management strategies and occupational health considerations related to massage therapy. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure client safety during sessions. Ability to interpret medical terminology relevant to client conditions and treatment plans. Prior experience in med spa or healthcare settings is preferred for a comprehensive understanding of client care standards.
