  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through customized treatments that address their unique needs. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain and tension Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, mobility limitations, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and post-treatment care to maximize benefits Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care Uphold strict sanitation and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations and industry best practices Stay current with the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to continually enhance service quality Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically and professionally Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health considerations in treatment planning Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed Join us in creating a welcoming environment where clients feel cared for and empowered on their journey toward better health.
