Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our vibrant wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through tailored treatments rooted in a deep understanding of physiology and anatomy. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, and other modalities to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history and current condition. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, pain management strategies, and self-care practices. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details and client progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes and support occupational health initiatives. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining certifications such as CPR and adhering to hygiene standards. Skills Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and general relaxation methods. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments to develop effective treatment plans. Experience working in a medical spa or similar environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health considerations related to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities. Pay:
$47.00 - $80.00 per hour
