Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and your dedication to patient care will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health benefits. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment details. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including CPR certification requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and build trusting relationships. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and physiologic processes. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
