Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. You will utilize various techniques and modalities tailored to individual client needs while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in assessing patient conditions and developing effective treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on pain management and overall wellness. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in massage therapy. Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Requirements Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Background in occupational health or med spa experience is a plus.
