Deliver various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas of pain or dysfunction and implement effective therapeutic strategies. Educate clients on self-care techniques and post-treatment care to support ongoing wellness and pain management. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout each session. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in clinical or medical massage settings. Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and communicate effectively with diverse populations. Expertise in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage techniques. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs. Knowledge of occupational health practices relevant to workplace injury prevention and recovery. additional certifications such as med spa experience or specialized therapeutic training are a plus.
