Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific areas of concern Educate clients on treatment options, benefits, and post-session care to maximize results Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment plans Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols such as CPR certification requirements Communicate effectively with clients to build trust, address questions, and foster a positive experience Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education related to physiology, anatomy, pain management techniques, and medical terminology Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification from an accredited licensing board Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on patient service and client communication Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, prenatal massage (if possible), and occupational health treatments Strong customer service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies Prior experience working in med spas or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in making a positive impact on our clients' lives through expert massage therapy!
