Working in the massage industry in Charlotte for 16+ years, through my own personal experiences, I provide the ideal work environment for a new or experienced Licensed massage therapist. I have held every role possible in this industry as a contractor, an employee, a manager of other employees, and an employer of other therapists. Here comes the boring stuff:

Skills required: A valid and updated NC Massage therapy License Liability insurance policy (AMTA or AMBP suggested but not required) Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to provide effective massage therapy. Skilled in patient assessment and ongoing treatment suggestions. SOTAP or SOAP notes experience. Pre-natal certification Here comes the money and benefits stuff: Pay Scale and Benefits This is an employee position. A W2 will be required before the start of the job. I am open to full time or part time positions. Every employee gets a 2 month trial period to determine if they are a good fit for the job. If both employee/employer decide it's a good fit, then an employee agreement will be drafted. Shifts will be a minimum 3.5 hours per day (2-3 clients max) and a maximum 6.5 hours per day (4-5clients max). Services are full 60 or 90 minute massages with 15-30 minute breaks in between. A part time position is 15-20 hours per week. A full time position is 30-35 hours per week. There is a base hourly pay which ensures all employees get paid for the time they are in the office (including breaks and lunch). With this included, therapists receive $40/hour per massage. Average tips earned fall in between 15-25%. Half of any $20 add-on services go to the therapist. With all of these factors included, this would ensure up to $75 per hour. You will determine your own schedule based on scheduling blocks provided by REDUX. Depending on continuing education and experience, there is a lot of room to grow and/or move into upper management. There will be paid, mandatory monthly training sessions that last an average of 2 hours with a meal included. Any continuing education courses required by REDUX will be paid by REDUX.
