Licensed Massage Therapist (1099 Independent Contractor Weekends)

Refuah 14 Massage & Bodywork in Newton, NC is seeking a licensed massage therapist to join our peaceful spa environment on a weekend commission-based (1099) basis . This position is ideal for a therapist who wants to focus on providing excellent care while working in a calm, established wellness space. We currently have a strong client base and overflow bookings available. Position Details Independent Contractor (1099) Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) Commission-based pay per service Opportunity to receive overflow client bookings Work inside an established spa environment Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy services to clients Maintain a clean, relaxing treatment space Deliver high-quality client care and communication Follow sanitation and professional standards Requirements Active North Carolina Massage & Bodywork Therapy License Professional liability insurance Reliable, professional, and client-focused Ability to work independently in a spa environment Scheduling & Booking Appointments are booked through our spa booking system, Vagaro. Contractor will be added as a service provider and can set their own availability within the system. Supplies & Equipment Refuah 14 provides: Private treatment room Massage table Basic linens/sheets Booking and payment system Contractor provides: Massage oils/lotions Personal tools or specialty supplies Professional liability insurance Compensation Commission-based pay per service. Exact percentage discussed during interview. Typical earnings range from $35-$65 per hour depending on services booked.
