Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management. Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment progress, comfort levels, and any necessary adjustments. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with licensing requirements, including CPR certification. Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health history in accordance with privacy regulations. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as needed. Uphold the highest standards of patient service and customer care to foster a welcoming and relaxing environment. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent client communication skills to assess needs effectively and explain treatment procedures clearly. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans. Experience with pain management techniques and understanding of injury prevention strategies. Knowledge of medical safety protocols including CPR certification.
