Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans, professional communication, and a caring approach. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and recommend appropriate sessions for pain management or relaxation. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures clearly, and provide post-treatment advice. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and occupational health practices to enhance service quality. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse clients. Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment options and gather relevant health information. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans. CPR certification and familiarity with occupational health standards are required for safety compliance. Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
