Job Description

Kinetic Massage and Movement Therapy seeks to add a part-time or full-time LMT to our schedule. We are a growing massage practice with a beautiful location in central Carson City. Kinetic focuses on providing evidence based, customized treatments to our clientele using a variety of techniques. Our comfortable space also provides a peaceful environment to help our clients relax and unwind. Experience is preferred but not required. Please submit resume with job history and references.
Pay and benefits:
$20 per hour clocked in PLUS $20 per hour of hands on time PLUS gratuity Scheduled annual raises PTO accrual starts after 90 days Reimbursement for licensing and liability insurance Free massage once a month Spacious rooms Flexible schedule (some evenings and Saturdays required but we all share the responsibility so that no one has to work all evenings and Saturdays) Responsibilities include: Performing 30, 60, and 90 minute massage treatments combining various techniques (ie-swedish, deep tissue, sports, cupping, etc.) Assessing clients' health conditions and recommending appropriate techniques and treatments Using appropriate draping techniques to maintain client modesty Taking detailed SOAP notes of each session Maintaining a clean and well stocked room, assisting with general cleanliness of common areas When necessary, assisting with checking clients in and out, rescheduling clients, taking payment, and checking voicemails Applicants are required to have: A valid NV LMT license in good standing, certificate required to be on display Active AMTA liability insurance
