Overview Paid by patients you treat. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide various massage techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. This role is essential in promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being through therapeutic touch. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment that values patient care and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in treatment areas. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat clients. Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Familiarity with occupational health practices and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills to enhance patient experience. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop personalized treatment plans. Experience working in a med spa environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
