Job Description
```Duties```
- Provide professional massage therapy services to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques
- Assess clients' needs and create individualized treatment plans to address their specific concerns and goals.
- Perform physical examinations and gather relevant medical history information to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of their massage therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. ```Qualifications```
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in the state of New York.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to the musculoskeletal system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their individual goals.
- Experience in acute pain management and working with patients who have specific medical conditions or injuries is preferred.
