Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic wellness team as a Massage Therapist, where your skills will transform lives through healing touch and personalized care. In this role, you will deliver a variety of massage techniques to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients feel revitalized and empowered, making a positive impact on their health journey. We are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and recognizes your dedication. Shift Daily shift, Monday through Friday, morning to afternoon (9am to 5pm, or similar) We have flexible scheduling and can work with you, for example, if you can only work 6 hours a day Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments (offerings vary per your specific skills) Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy while educating clients on post-treatment care. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and any relevant medical terminology or pain management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including client records, treatment details, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure patient safety by adhering to CPR standards and maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment. Stay updated on industry best practices and expand expertise in areas such as med spa treatments or occupational health therapies. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Students nearing the end of a program are also considered. Proven experience in massage therapy. Liability insurance required. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques to customize treatments effectively. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide exceptional customer service. Ability to maintain professionalism. Commitment to ongoing education in massage therapy practices and industry standards.
