Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Independent Contractor /Massage Therapist to join our vibrant wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients, helping them relax, recover, and improve their overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your schedule while delivering high-quality treatments that meet each client's unique needs. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of physiology will play a vital role in enhancing client satisfaction and promoting health. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address client concerns. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care advice. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and professional protocols. Stay informed about current massage therapy practices, anatomy knowledge, occupational health guidelines, and medical terminology relevant to client care. Promote client retention through excellent customer service and personalized care experiences. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques. Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and deliver effective treatments. Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is highly desirable. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Familiarity with occupational health standards and medical terminology enhances your ability to serve clients effectively. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to work independently as an contractor while maintaining professionalism and high standards of care.
