Job Description
Introduction RN Massage is a growing practice located in Cuyahoga Falls, and is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Licensed Massage Therapist. Our massage therapists are held to a high standard of professionalism, as a significant part of our client base are insurance referrals requiring the skill to treat specific musculoskeletal issues, timely documentation (SOAP notes), and strong verbal communication skills. As a part of our team, we will credential you to become a medical provider for the Veterans Administration, and Workers Compensation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Listen to client needs, and provide a custom session. Be on time to start your self-determined shift. Provide professional quality massages in 30/45/60/90 minute increments. (120 minutes optional). Our scheduling system automatically provides 15 minutes between clients. Encourage clients to continue massages on regular basis. Complete SOAP notes for each treatment (very user friendly format). Checkout client by processing payment and rescheduling. Follow cancellation policy procedures to be compensated for no-shows. Supplies Basic supplies provided; sheets, lubricants, tools, etc. You are encouraged to bring your own tools. Our LMTs do not do laundry as we have a laundry service. Schedule Chose the days/times you prefer based on room availability: Currently Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays (after 4p), Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays (alternating). Prefer someone who can commit to at least two weekdays and one alternating weekend day, and be available to start by the end of August. Be at the office for clients, including; room setup, cleanup, and client checkout. Many flexible options for orientation period. Compensation Our Independent Contractors (IC) charge 47% of service cost plus tips. Our most popular massage is $105/hour, so fully vetted LMTs make $49.35 (+ tips); insurance clients are paid as a flat rate $37.60 - $53.11 per hour. Monthly cost starts around $250 for single 30 year old, and $0 for 30 year old with two dependents. Orientation Paid training in our signature massage, specific therapeutic massage (if needed), and lymph drainage (optional), along with practice software and protocol. If needed, also in cupping, hot stones, bamboo, etc.
