Duties Perform a range of therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage to address muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress-related conditions. Conduct thorough client intake assessments to identify individual wellness goals and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with holistic health principles. Provide a warm, empathetic, and client-centered experience from the moment of arrival through post-session follow-up, ensuring every client feels heard, safe, and cared for. Educate clients on self-care practices, stretching routines, and complementary wellness strategies to support their ongoing healing between sessions. Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatments, client progress, and session notes in accordance with professional standards. Operate strictly within the scope of practice as defined by the State of Ohio Medical Board and adhere to all applicable Ohio massage therapy laws and regulations. Stay current with continuing education requirements, license renewal, and evolving best practices in massage therapy and holistic wellness. Requirements Active massage therapy license in good standing, issued by the State of Ohio Medical Board — no exceptions. A genuine passion for holistic wellness and a strong personal desire to facilitate healing in every client interaction. Demonstrate expertise in deep tissue massage and therapeutic techniques for pain relief and muscle recovery. Empathetic, client-focused nature with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
