Open Until Filled Fairview Park City Schools is seeking an experienced Substitute Mechanic to assist the Head Mechanic on an as-needed basis.Certifications / Credentials
Valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) � Class B or higher with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe ASE certification in school bus or heavy vehicle repair preferred Ability to meet Ohio pupil transportation safety requirements including background checks and state inspection standards Qualifications Minimum five years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably with school buses, diesel vehicles, or medium/heavy-duty equipment Strong working knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, brake systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic components Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools and repair manuals Experience maintaining vehicle maintenance records, inspection documentation, and service schedules Ability to manage shop operations independently including parts ordering, inventory tracking, and maintenance planning Demonstrated organization, reliability, and ability to work independently in a fleet maintenance environment Physical ability to perform mechanical work including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces Pay $30.66 per hour Application Procedure apply online at www.fairviewparkschools.org and click on Human Resources.PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN OR EMAIL US ANY PAPER DOCUMENTS.
