In this role, you will deliver specialized massage treatments tailored to individual needs, focusing on pain relief, muscle relaxation, and overall health improvement. Your expertise will help clients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and alleviate pain Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, mobility issues, and treatment goals Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and physiological knowledge Educate patients on self-care practices, stretching routines, and ergonomic adjustments to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans for patients with complex or chronic conditions Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and maintaining proper sanitation protocols Requirements Proven experience as a massage therapist with specialization in therapeutic massage and trigger point therapy preferred Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate effectively Familiarity with pain management techniques and their application in clinical settings Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare environment is highly desirable Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for practicing massage therapy Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a meaningful difference.
