Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to enhance ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations Communicate effectively with patients to understand their concerns, preferences, and feedback for continuous improvement Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming, relaxing environment and ensuring patient comfort throughout each session Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to provide informed care Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification to practice legally in the designated area Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management experience preferred CPR certification required for safety during treatments Prior med spa or healthcare setting experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for ongoing learning is essential Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic experiences that help patients feel their best!
