Job Description
Overview Our Chiropractic office is looking for a part time massage therapist. The position will have a set minimum 10-12 hours / week of availability to allow our front desk to schedule clients, with opportunity to increase hours as clientele and demand increase. The position will acquire a profit share of 60/(therapist)40, with minimum massage price being $95, and all tips 100% go to the therapist. This allows the right therapist to build a strong clientele (with help from our chiropractor providing patient recommendations), set their own schedule, make a strong hourly rate and be apart of a supportive upbeat office that loves supporting all holistic approaches! Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage to address client-specific concerns. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening attentively, and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, patient responses, and progress notes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive pain management strategies. Ensure the treatment area remains clean, sanitized, and organized in accordance with occupational health standards. Experience Proven experience as a massage therapist is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology preferred Skilled in various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage, therapeutic, pregnancy and lymphatic drainage preferred for effective pain management. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly.
