Job Description
Share space in a 6100 sf. Sports Performance facility and work alongside coaches and athletes. Offices available or you may use space next to our functional training area. You'll have a built in clientele base to market to, as well as your own clients. Works well as a "satellite location" or full-time business. Perform therapeutic/deep tissue/sports massage for soft tissues and joints. May assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength, or propose client therapy plans. Provide treatment plans for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance. Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body Perform massages (Deep tissue, Sports massage, Relaxation...) Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture Document client's condition and progress Market to clients Keep area CLEAN Summary As a Massage Therapist - Independent Contractor, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on pain management and overall wellness. Reporting to the clinic manager, your role will leverage your core knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with premium skills in patient assessment and trigger point therapy. Your ability to deliver exceptional patient service and maintain a welcoming environment will be essential. Additionally, your relevant experience in customer service and med spa settings will enhance the client experience, making you a vital part of our holistic health approach. Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Proficient in patient assessment and providing exceptional patient service Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Experience in customer service and occupational health Previous work in a med spa environment is a plus
